K.P. Jones was born in Charleston, West Virginia, March 15, 1937 and graduated from Charleston High School in 1955.
He received his B.A. Degree in Physics from Centre College of Kentuckyin 1958.
After having worked as a Claims Adjuster, supervisor, and manager for Hartford Insurance Company, he attended University of Miami and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1970.
That same year he was admitted to the Florida Bar and began his legal career in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education.
He is licensed to practice in all Florida Courts, U.S. DistrictCourt, Southern District of Florida, and U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.
He is a member of The Florida Bar, Broward County and AmericanBar Associations, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and is a Director for the Sports Car Club of America.
K.P. Jones makes his home in Fort Lauderdale with his wife Sylvia and son Jason. He enjoys golfing and race car driving.
